My name is Chris Dempsey. I’m a U.S. Army veteran with a practical, hands-on background built on structure, discipline, and getting things done right the first time.

For over 16 years, I’ve worked as a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain, delivering vessels up and down the East Coast and providing private instruction to boat owners who want to operate safely and confidently. That work demands precision, accountability, and the ability to adapt quickly—because on the water, conditions rarely stay the same for long.

Along the way, I also managed marinas, overseeing customer billing, payments, budgeting, contracts, vendor coordination, and daily operations. In that role, I lived in the details that keep a business running smoothly.

Before that, I worked in call center systems and programming, where I learned how good structure and clean processes can save time—or create chaos when they’re missing.

My first exposure to accounting wasn’t polished. It started with sorting through shoeboxes of receipts for my folks, both accounting professionals. That’s where I learned a simple truth: clarity starts with organization, and organization starts with consistency.

Raised in Martin County, I’ve called Port Salerno, Stuart, and Palm City, Florida home for the past 30 years.
